Well thank you underbidder for paying too much!

How are you Jerry? So how did the other fair turn out? And did you go to Malvern, am hearing from some people I know that went and they had a good day out! Would love to have gone but health issues!

You will have to P.M. me details about this badge if you don’t mind? All the best billy

“p.s.” I was Royal Air Force! and you just so happened to be an Army Royal Engineer! so that badge wouldn’t have suited you, wrong colour old chap!

Hello Gents,
I was serving in HK with the RAFP but attached to a army unit in Kowloon I was there in the audience at the disbandment ceremony and very impressive it was.
On several visits to Kai Tak I acquired a HK Air Cadet officer badge which if you don’t know is the same as a RAF badge but with a propeller instead of a crown.
I also acquired two RHKAAF badges one the same as Billy’s silver item the other the same metal pattern but colourfully enamelled. I don’t know if it was a later/earlier issue or a SNCO badge or which badge came first. Any idea?
Cheers
Richard
