Metal Senior Rates cap badges

Going through the items that I have stored away, I came across the badges shown below which I had forgotten about. The notes with them said Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Can anyone confirm they are in fact RAN and possibly give a date that they were in use please?

Just bumping this again.

Certainly not British Royal Navy (RN) and given the lack of response, I now doubt RAN.

Perhaps Royal Canadian Navy (RCN)?
