Default Just in time for Christmas

Things have been super thin on the ground recently so I was really pleased to find this little thing on a Pakistan eBay dealers list. It's a pair of Omani saifs (swords) as they appear on virtually all Omani military badges as part of the national emblem.
So what are they? I think, and as always I'd be glad to hear from anyone who knows otherwise, they are one of a pair of collar badges originally worn by the Muscat Regiment just after they were formed. They might however be from the Muscat and Oman Field Force or the Oman Regiment from the same period, but I don't think so.
