1st Light Horse (NSW Lancers) picture

Here's an interesting photo of a 1st Australian Light Horse (NSW Lancers) soldier - circa early 1900s.

Here wears the older 1890s period New South Wales Lancers hat badge and a shoulder title that says 1ALH NSW Lancers. I've never seen one of those titles anywhere and even the NSW Lancers Memorial Museum doesn't have one.

It must be just before the regiment got issued with their 1st ALH (NSW Lancers) hat badge.
