Good evening all my dear old mum got me this at a carboot i just love it but not sure what it is.May be a pill case

Looks to me like a ladies compact case although I may be wrong

Thanks oc14 do u think its wartime the cover is celuloid and the metal is highly polished insted of a mirror for a compact?
