Royal Pakistan Engineers

Can anyone provide a reference as to the date range this badge was worn. Although Pakistan achieved independence in August 1947, it remained a dominion until March 1956. Thanks.

Nice badge. I also assume the dates are somewhere between 1947 when Pakistan became indepedent and 1956 when Pakistan became a republic.
