Im trying to find out when the above Militia was formed, and when it was disbanded or amalgamated ?
Andy Thanks to M Davey of Watling Militaria for use of the image.

I am trying to find out if this badge i'm showing, has anything to do with the Regiment shown in the beginning post ? I am aware of the Imperial Crown and to the period it dates, and of its implications to this badge i now show. But i don't believe it is a Sergeants FSH pagri badge, of the Scots Guards. Or at least i have not seen any evidence to prove that. My point is why would a Sergeants badge be completely different to an Officers, Wo's and Or's badge of the same Regiment ? I may be completely wrong of course, and am hoping for members opinions and help in this matter.

I know the metals used are obviously different, and the lack of the scroll. But could this be an Or's badge to the 1st Royal Lanark Militia ?

There is also a pattern of the badge i show, but with a Victorian Crown. As used on the badge in the 1st post.
