Default Picked up for 99p

Got this for 99p, initially thought Tyneside/Northumberland regiment but might be an "imaginary" badge.

I can't remember dates of wear without book checking, but I think it's earlier than the similar design with regimental name rather than motto.
Someone'll be able to give the dates without having to check.

Leigh - it's the other way round. The crest was the Earl of Ligonier's ( Col for 28 years) the badge in White metal with "7th Dragoon Guards" on the scroll was introduced in 1898. In 1906 the badge was changed to a brass one with the Earl's motto - Quo Fata Vocant . ( I did have to look it up though ! ) Tim

Thanks - you can usually rely on me to leap the wrong way when given a choice.
