Sorting through some of my badges with question marks over their authenticity. Can anyone please confirm/deny whether these are bad or worth hanging on to.
Thanks
Andy

Always difficult to give an opinion on a badge from a photograph rather than actually handling the badge however I'll stick my head above the parapet and say that of the three the only one I'd be happy with is the white metal one with the long slider, others may disagree

Hi PL,

Thanks for the response. That's a real shame as I was hoping the slidered badge with "twig & leaves" was genuine. It came with the soldiers WW1 diary who was from the Grimsby/Cleethorpes area!
I have added two more pics of this particular badge if anyone else can add their views as to its authenticity.
Thanks
Andy

Just seen this, only 3 years late. Hopefully you kept it as 100% it’s a beautiful original badge.

Hi Luke,

Yes I did keep it thank you. As it came with the soldiers other belongings I couldn't believe it was not genuine.
Thanks for getting back to me and reassuring me of its authenticity.

Kind Regards,
Andy
