Hi Bill,

I assume you are talking about the device used for "confirmed rank"? If so then I have photos of a couple of examples. One is still period attached to the BD and in the collection of the FGH museum.

Cheers,
Greg

Hi Bill,

As mentioned I have photographed a couple of examples. I have two that are made by TipTaft (one in gold and one in a dull bronze) and a plated version of unknown maker on the BD in the FGH museum collection. I also have some period photos of them in wear. Would you like me to post photos?

Cheers,
Greg

Sure. (As long as it doesn't cut into your badge book material.)

Hi Bill,

No worries. What did you need specifically? Let me know and I'll post.

Cheers,
Greg

I would like to see the badge and manner of wear. Especially in combination with formation signs and shoulder titles.

Hi Bill,

As the photos I have will likely not suffice I will take photos of the BD we have @ the museum when I go in on Tuesday. I'll get a few detailed photos that should fit the bill. Will that work?

Cheers,
Greg

Sounds good. If you are doing that, could you get some close ups of the fm patch and shoulder titles?
Thanks.

Hi Bill,

I already have several examples of the shoulder titles and 2 CAB lozenges photographed. All WWII vintage. Both on the BD's and off. I can post a couple from my own collection tonight.

Cheers,
Greg
