Default Badges seen at RAF museum Hendon

Took some photos of various badges on display at Hendon last year. I particularly liked the pattern card for the Pensioner Recruiter badge! Anyone got one of those in their collection? Hope those with an aero interest find them interesting. Cheers, Andrew.

Nice to see, but a bit like the National Army Museum's cap badge display now. Throw some random badges at some perspex without context and see what sticks.

Many thanks for posting Andrew, It’s been a while since being on the site, great to see the Standard Pattern for the Pensioner Recruiter badge. Hylton

I have two of the Pensioner Recruiter badges, same design, slightly different construction, which came from Warrant Officer Leonard Smith, an MT Warrant Officer prior to and during WW2. They were worn from at least 1935 up to the early 1950s.
