If that sign on the mudguard is supposed to be "Bow Bells" then this is 47th (London) Infantry Division.
Although these bells do not look a whole lot like those on the formation sign I have.

An excellent image - based on the officer's uniform, the carrier belongs to one of several battalions of Royal Fusiliers in 47 (L) Inf Div at that period. The image below shows another interpretation of the sign - this carrier (unit serial 55) belongs to the senior battalion in 25 Inf Bde - 2 Essex. It was not uncommon for signs painted on vehicles - usually by unskilled hands - to be very different from that worn on the sleeve. For examples, check out vehicles and men of 7 Armd Div in NW Europe 1944/45. Mike
