Default THE POLISH AIR FORCE IN BRITAIN,

© IWM (CH 1146) Polish airmen receiving instruction in wireless telegraphy at the Polish Air Force Depot, RAF Blackpool, 27 August 1940.

Notice the 'Poland' title under the RAF badge.

The placement of the title better explains to me at least the distinction between OR's and Officers titles. As I understood a straight title for OR's and curved for Officers. Straight as to be sewn directly below the rectangular RAF sleeve eagle. Makes more sense now at least as it pertains to Polish RAF volunteers.

Thanks for the post
Jack
