Default Royal Signals Dress Regs. Memo 22 of 1978

Dear Friends.

Can any member please help me to find out what is written in Royal Signals Dress Regulations Memo 22 of 1978. Could you please advise me what is says or even better where I can view it.

I believe the Memo covers the Bandmaster's Collar Badges at the time and indicate that there were white backed and not dark blue.

The reason I am asking is that a friend of mine has recently won an auction of Royal Signals memorabilia that has a set of these collar badges within it.

I have attached below a photo of this auction with a number of badges. Some very rare. The collar badges I am interested in learning about appear at the bottom of the page and is the middle of the three items.

There is a notation underneath these badges that states the Bullion Badges were as per Royal Signals Dress Regulation Memo No 22 of 1978 and that these particular collar badges would have been worn in the 1980's by the Bandmaster.

I have not seen this colour configuration of collar badges before and would like to find out if the notation is correct.

Any information would be much appreciated.

With my kind regards

Chris Walker
