You did ask, sorry if you did not like the answer, as previously said each to their own.

I know that members on this website have a fantastic range of interest and I now realise weapons included!
For some years I have been trying to find information regarding:-

Thomas Turner of Reading

They were gun makers, I understand, at the upper half of the market in the manufacture/assembly/modification of revolvers, rifles & guns.

I am particularly interested in the type of revolver they sold during the mid 1800's and on.

Part of their expertise was tuning Enfield's & Martini Henry's for range work etc. I believe they had a London shop at one time.

There was a company under that name, in trade up to a couple of years ago but I do not believe they had any connection with the Thomas Turner of the 1800's.

There must be information out there somewhere but I cannot find it!

I almost have the impression that all info regarding revolvers in the UK on the web have been deleted!

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Don't be naughty now - that sort of thing is for Arrse - not a refined site such as this.

And please do not try parking it on your wife's best sideboard as tank track marks are very difficult to remove from polished surfaces.
