Anyone know where i can get a badge re-chromed?

Jewellers would be my first stop. Then possibly an Autoparts shop, for vintage cars like MG's etc.. that had lots of chrome, they may offer a re-chroming service.

I think a jeweller would charge an arm and a leg , I would look in your local Yellow Pages.

If you look in your yellow pages for "electro platers" you should find something local. Had some brass door finger plates done a couple of years ago, took about two weeks but the plating cost about £3 each and the finger plates lost none of their detail.

I've got to have a De Walden Welsh trench knife stripped of some nickel chrome that some silly sod put on it by some electro platers up in Treorchy that I know. So if you get the badge to me I will put it with my stuff and they don't usually charge me.
Probably easiest to drop it off at my office in the centre of Cardiff if you're passing. P.M me for details.
