Default Opinions on 1st Dragoon Guards and CMP

Hi All,

I've picked up this 1st Dragoon Guards as part of a job lot, it's not the badge I wanted out of the lot but I'd like to know if people think it's ok.

Second I picked up this Military Police one thinking it was a gilt one but now it's here I can't help wondering if the lack of crimp means it's actually just a shiny repro.

Any help would be appreciated,

Michael

It's a Queen's Dragoon Guards eagle. There is a difference in design.

Thanks a lot Alan, as I say I know nothing about it, it was part of a job lot.

So do I take it it's a modern cap badge?

The troopers buy their own metal badges so there is a lot of variance.

Thanks very much,
