Also NZ military badges and rank insignia (post 1990) and NZ, AUS police badges and rank insignia as well as uniforms associated with these collections. Thanks for your interest. the following information is from the book New Zealand Army Distinguishing Patches 1911-1991 Part Two by Malcolm Thomas and Cliff Lord, published 1995 "Driver of the Year Badges. Awarded to those personnel who are placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the RNZCT Annual national 'Driver of the Year' Competition and may be worn for one year from the date of the award. They are to be worn on No.4 Dress, Service Dress and No.5 Dress, Summer Dress on the right sleeve 100mm below the shoulder seam. First place Yellow wagon wheel with numeral 1 in blue Second pace Yellow wagon wheel with numeral 2 in blue Third place Yellow wagon wheel with numeral 3 in blue" Since the writing of this book, things have changed a bit. RNZCT was merged with the RNZAOC & the RNZEME to create the RNZALR (Royal New Zealand Army Logistics Regiment) under which the driving trade is now apart of. Also the 'driver of the year' badges shown on the website are the current type which replaced the yellow and blue ones as stated in the book. Additional No5. Dress, summer dress is no longer and has been replaced by the light green service shirt, hence the backing of the second no.3 shown on the website. I hope this helps.
