Here is a small group of cloth insignia cut off of a uniform that was Id'd to Sgt Pete Te'Amo, 1st Bn RNZI from his tour in 1968. Slip on shoulder title, Para wings, Bn Patch and Rank. I picked these up at a Military Insignia show this past weekend in Kansas City. These and a number of other para and SF items were from a collection belonging to a 3 war U.S Army Ranger. He was a collector and a soldier.
The shoulder slip and para wing are on a green type of light gaberdine material, the Kiwi patch is printed and the white stripes are sewn down to a material looking similar the wing and shoulder slip. I am struggling with my camera and cannot seem to get a clear shot today.
Hope you enjoy, Jack
