This is some rare cap badge. The vendor is one of the best on ebay, and never knowingly offers dud badges. He has several interesting badge lots up right now.

You beat me to the punch, Bill. No personal acquisition interest but it is pretty neat to see these badges. With all the emphasis on 'main stream' badges, it never occurred to me that there would be things from colonies or protectorates like Shanghai. My favourite is the 1st Chinese Regiment Boxer Rebellion badge. (BTW, you think that's a maker mark plate at the top or is it missing a 3rd lug?)

Should be interesting to see what else Brent posts out of this collection, as it does seem from these first few that it is eclectic and all over the map.
