Default Capt Petry - 4th Gurkhas WW2

Can anyone tell me anything about a Capt Petry 4th Gurkha Rifles - I have his field service cap with boss badge dated 1945. I bought it some time ago as I didn't have an example of the boss badge but have recently acquired a similar boss badge so may be moving the cap on. I'd be interested in learning something about the officer before doing that though. Tim

Many thanks for the info. When did he become a Capt ? Would not that have been gazetted?
