51st Highland Division Patch. WW2 or Post-War?
Just wondering if anyone knows if this is a post-war patch or a wartime one.
Thanks Arran |

That is what is termed a "Brabant" weave patch, supposedly made in the Netherlands at sometime nearing the very end of the war. They made patches, or more properly formation signs, for quite a few divisions.
I have posted another query to determine whether or not they were actually worn while the war was on or just after. The AOS strip below is for the RAC, which is odd as the 51st HD were an infantry division. CB
