Default German Translation?

Hi Gents,

I picked up a Great War postcard. The subjects appear to be German, so my assumption is that the writing may be German too (from France).

Can someone have a butchers and see if a translation is possible?

I'm sure it's not really important but always interesting to read what these chaps were writing home about.

Cheers,
Roy

The picture is a bit fuzzy, but I can read a few words:

Sende Ihre ganzen Familie ... .... Grüsse

My mother used to write like this and I still struggle.

Top line

... 6th Tag 14 (6th day 14)

Under the signature

? 6th Inf Regiment.

Meaning ; "Sending your family ... greetings". The soldier's name seems to be Adolf Deperl, "Motorfuhrer" [vehicle driver] 6th Infantry Regiment. The addressee appears to have lived in Kronprinz Singel in Sulzbach.

Hi Guys,

Thank you so much, fascinating stuff. The part about the 'Vehicle Driver' was very interesting as the images show two chaps with their motorcycles, so that part lines up perfectly.

Cheerio,
Roy
