scottish cap badge ???
Good evening,
I need your help to identify this cap badge : size : 55 mm / 58mm It makes me think of the Royal Scots but I have found kidney of similar. the one who gets closer is that of : Duke of Connaught & Strathearn's own Cap town Highlanders-6th South African infantry cox - ref 3162 - p336 & 337 is it in 2 parts? Thanks in advance for your help. Kind regards. Michel |

Hi
It looks likely to be the back part of this badge to the Royal Scots regt. Glengarry cap badge worn 1871 to 1890. |

Similar part-badge, similar condition, same measurements give or take a millimetre or two, aquired on this forum 10 months ago - but I don't know what it is either.
