Default Lend Lease

Hey

I thought this might be interesting

It was captioned lend lease

Is it true that the last payment to the USA was in 2006

Yes but only because the interest rates were so low that it made no financial sense for the government before then to pay off the US loan only to have to get a higher rate on the money markets. It was actually a good deal for the UK Treasury not to pay the loan off before then.
