Default Fleet Air Arm pilot with unknown badge

Can anyone identify the badge worn on the right hand side of his uniform by this FAA pilot? They appear to be wings but if so are they those of another air force, possibly European?

Suggestions please.

Jon

Hi
Wings looks US Naval , he thus qualified with the US, wearing wing on chest and his own Fleet Air Arm on cuff.
Regards
Steve
