AA The Royal Gibraltar Regiment
Gents, recent find - anodised Royal Gibraltar Regiment marked Dowler. Birmingham on a rather ropey khaki beret, but a rather nice example of the backing, not too often found.
Fairly certain that Other Ranks wear a 'bronzed' metal cap badge nowadays as opposed to the AA one. Nice example though. Regards all Bess

Good that it's come on a beret too.
The regiment's part of The Queen's Division, I take it the change from gold and silver colouring to bronzed badge for OR's is to follow the practise in the PWRR.

The backing and khaki beret are incorrect for the coloured badge of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment.
On the 29th of April 2006 a significant change in the Regiment’s insignia took place when the old dark blue berets of the Artillery were replaced with khaki Infantry berets. The cap badge became deep bronze in colour and was backed by a ‘flash’ in the Regiment’s colours – the scarlet of Gibraltar’s Infantry protecting the limestone grey of the Rock. Marc
