Default More "Unknown" Badges

Over Good Friday I had another raid on my box of “unknown” cloth badges. Can anyone tell me more about the items in the scan?

The red and black badges are probably more naval trade badges, but which navy and which trades?

The small round patch is a maple leaf and three arrow heads.

The geometric design on the “bar” type rank badges may identify the country

The small, round badge with a maple leaf and three arrow head is the qualification badge for the Cadet Leader Instructor course of the Canadian Army Cadet, worn on the left forearm.

The Anchor,SM, TSF and the one with the electrical motor with sparks are all French Navy. The Anchor and Paddles is for Matelot d'equipage. SM is for Secretaire Militaire (Military Writer?). TSF is Radiotelegraphiste, the motor w/sparks is for Electrotechnicien.
These all are modern and worn now.

Thanks for being able to identify both the Canadian and the French items Jo.

Does anybody have any ideas on the "flaming grenade" or the rank badges/chevrons?

The two diamond shaped badges are German Navy, and the bars are IDF.

Many thanks for your help "54Bty".

That just leaves the "flaming grenade". Anyone have any ideas?

Default More unknown badges

I have the hexagonal badge with the half grenade, half axe and key symbol. I believe it was worn by US personnel serving with 6901 Civilian Support Centre, in Zweibrueken, Germany. Unfortunately, I have no information on the centre itself.
I hope this helps.
