Is it a cap or a collar? Could you post the dimensions?
Is it silver? Hard to tell by the image. My first thought would be that it is an officer's badge as Ludlow made officers' badges. Phil

Kings Regt officer's cap badges made by Ludlows are copied from those made by Gaunt. They are not of the highest quality, thus I would say yours is also genuine. My only quibble would be the large amount of flux behind the loops (that they are not silver themselves doesn't worry me), On one (King's) I have, the Ludlow stamps (one LUDLOW and one LONDON) are slightly misstruck - again, not something that worries me.
