Cadet Royal Hamilton Light Infantry
I ran across this cloth patch and I am looking for any insight that someone might have. possibly a former RHLI cadet might be able to tell us about this patch.

Chris,
Have you thought about contacting the curator of the RHLI museum? Either stop by in person, or use the info at the following link: http://www.rhli.ca/museum/museum.html Good luck! Walt |

Very unusual patch for a cadet corps. Please keep us informed about what you find out.

The CATOs formerly permitted cadets to be trained in basic SAR activities, often by a subject matter expert from a local SAR society. I'm aware of one BC cadet corps that had a "SAR platoon". It looks like a RHLI corps may have had a similar idea and produced an identifier for the section/platoon/whatever. There was no official badging or qualification for any local SAR training.

I have sent an email to the RHLI museum asking for anything that they may know. Some great leads and knowledge being expressed here.
Thank you for all of your help. I will update once I hear anything else, however if anyone has any further information please add on to this thread Chris
