The original yellow on blue badge was worn by the ten members of the
RECONNAISSANCE PARTY for the QUEEN’S OWN GURKHA LOGISTIC REGIMENTS DEPLOYMENT to Afghanistan in 2009. This badge does not look like the same manufacture, so I think it is one that has been produced after the 2009 deployment. Of course it may be that they have decided to continue wearing the badge instead of the black on green version. And I have missed it. Marc |

Hi Sean and Marc,
Many thanks for your comments on the badge. However, I see the original badge had yellow kukris but the ones on this badge are definitely beige or fawn rather than yellow. If it should be that you find out that it is still worn in this version by the QOGLR, perhaps you'd post another reply on this. Fred |
