Default Deer badge

Hello! I know the seaforth and the gordons deer head...but I don't know wich regiment belong this one...if is legit and not a fantasy

Neither. It's Ceylon not Scotland.
The Ceylon Cadet Battalion 1902-49.

Difficult to say with a cast badge. It could have been cast in Ceylon during the period of wear - or yesterday!

All I can say is it doesn't have the quality of the CCB in my own small Ceylon collection which is die-stamped and has the appearance of any other British manufactured badge of that era.

I guess as you are just starting out in the hobby, it's probably a pretty ropey badge to keep if you don't expect to have an interest in British Colonial or theatre made badges.
