Blue and white diamonds
Does anyone have any ideas on these. I think they are either 13th/18th Hussars or Royal Signals but not sure. Interestingly the white area has traces of white blanco as I have seen on WW2 to highlight rank stripes. I may sell if they are not me.
Many thanks fred |

They are not Signals. Signals AOS or airborne DZ patches were rectangular or square.
The diamond is likely to be cavalry or yeomanry. |

13/18th Hussars WW2......(Our Jack)...........they wore the Seahorse badge of 27th.AB for D Day and a short time after,I do not know if they wore this patch at same time.

It was 13/18 I was thinking of so thanks to S/Kid for the photo. The modern LD use a similar design.
The signals has a lighter blue than the cavalry one so you will need to colour match it. |

The badges in post one are the wrong shape and colour for the 13/18th, image below.

They could be HQ 2nd Division Transport RACT, post 1990, worn white left, blue right. These were a return to those originally worn by 2nd Divisional Train AASC 1915-1919.

Thanks to all. The material is old and not man made fibre. They are more likely to be WW1 than modern but the fact that the white has been blancoed makes me think they are probably WW2.
