bronzed parachute regiment badge
can I get some opinions as to authenticity on this parachute regiment cap badge, I was told it was for a RSM. I know bronzed collars were worn by officers but not sure about bronzed cap badges?

Not a badge I have ever ever heard of. Always in silver or w/m with thee exception of a gold one worn by one of the officers in 1944.

Never say never!!
Article on the Irish Lancastrian Battalion of the Parachute Regiment by the late Jake Whitehouse who was an officer with the unit.
Jake mentions one officers cap badge that was worn and I suppose could be a one off . P.B.
