Default Seeking an ID on cloth badge
An old-timer brought this into the shop and I'm stumped. It's probably so easy that I'm going to be embarrassed asking ! It looks like an embroidered ribbon bar. Maybe American? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Looks like a US Warrant Officers Rank bar worn vertical(ish).
