Merchant navy?? and ???

Hi guys,
My first post here. I was directed here from another forum.
I got these two embroidered badges with a group of mixed WWI and WWII insignia.
The larger one appears to be Canadian navy of some sort...the style of crown is throwing me off. It has been suggested it is 1960's vintage.

The other one has me stumped completely, maybe not miltary at all.

Hoping some of the badge experts can ID these for me or help point me in the right direction.
