Default Medic Qualification badge

I recently picked this up for my Medic collection. It was listed as a between the wars Medic Qualification badge. The construction seems just like my WWI medic badges, so I feel it is good. I've researched it on line and in the forum but cannot find it. Did I get a fantasy badge or is it as was listed?

Thanks!

Terry

Hi Simon,

It was listed as British. I had thought it might be American WWI period, but it's small to be an American patch and the American WW1 medics wore the caduceus as their patch and also their collar badge.

I got it from a dealer in Canada so maybe it's Canadian?

It has been sewn on as the threads having done so are still present. Maybe a stretcher bearers patch?

Thanks,

Terry

Going to bump this to see if I can find out what it might be.

Thanks,

Terry

I think it may be Canadian medic(or infantry stretcher bearer) trade badge and c. 1956 - 1968
