Default 9th/12th Lancers Collar Badge

Hi Guys,

Can someone post the rear of one of these badges for me as I want to confirm something in one of the LoC changes.

Especially interested in the lug so an angle shot would be better than a more usual straight on reverse.

Regards

Chris

Default 9th /12th Lancers a/a collar badge

Hi Chris,
Thought I had a pair of these badges but they in fact turned out to be of slightly different construction. One is clearly marked J.R Gaunt London and the other is not maker named.
Hope these pics are of some use.
Best Regards.

Thanks Mate,

Both Gaunt badges with different rivets.

Yes, can see what LoC refers to.

Regards

Chris

All collar badges (and shoulder titles) will now be made with clutch and pin. These are brillant as the pins come off before you even get the packet open, but it is cheaper than making holes, and easier for your new Service Dress Jacket to be rebadged on amalgamation or the forming of the ONE large Royal Regiment of the United Kingdom Army.

Yes, saw this in a National Archive file relating to the Brigade era - one more thing to cover in a month or so.

Regards

Chris
