I may be wrong but I think that may be Royal Pioneer Corps judging by the colours

WRAC lanyard is listed in the 1950s to 1970s documentation as dark green and beech brown but I have yet to see an example in wear.

The red is a little dark for Royal Pioneer Corps - see attached sealed pattern and (K1) mint example.

Could be related to the Devonshire and Dorset Regiment (P1) although again colours seem off for Cerise and Lincoln Green?

Lanyards are not easy to identify - there are 200+ in my album https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...p?albumid=2027
Some still not positively identified.

Tim

On a second viewing, the colours are very similar to those of the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment (Sherwood Foresters), although I don't know what colour (if any) lanyard they wore....

Thank you chaps.
On looking at photos of the WRAC, I see no lanyards! So I can't compare, intriguing!

Hi Chris

As most female jackets do not have breast pockets, a different type of lanyard is produced for them and I'm sure if the WRACs' wore lanyards this would have been the case. I also have not seen any evidence of them wearing lanyards though. Please see attached the modern versions of The Royal Logistic Corps, Female and The Adjutant General's Corps, Female for example. Notice the loops are inter-linked

Thank you Ian.
Makes sense, so my lanyard is not WRAC.
Cheers all

Chris
