The font of the Jones and Jason one and the Butler Victoria Street are from the same maker which should arouse concern.

I saw a score of modern repros with these marks, the fake WD with crows foot and others at Charing cross market 2 years ago. All very dodgy and total fantasy marks put there to decieve.

Default Rough Riders badge with Butler makers mark

So the complete badge is a fake, or the makers marked backplate is faked?
Note: the blue felt backing is a replacement until I can get the correct colour.

Your back plate has a completely different font to the slidered version as shown by JPF. It is these sliders that are being faked. I am not aware of anyone faking the RRs badge to the standard that you show. The RR spur 'collar' badge on a slider has of course been faked to death.

Is this one of FIRMIN LONDON - from the rear of a Hong Kong collar required?
