Genuine Para and AAC badges for reference
These are 2 genuine badges given to me by my grandfather. They have been in the family since WW2 so are 100%. Hopefully they are a good enough set of photographs for reference.

Luke,
Some people talk such tosh. One only has to open a copy of Wilkinsons book to see a photograph of a solid Lion regiment parachute badge. Alan |

Just discovered your forum. Very interesting. I am not a badge collector as such but like to get badges to go with my medals. At present I am interested in a WWII Parachute Regiment badge. Is there an officers version? What is the differance? What would you expect to pay for an officers badge? Would think they are relatively rare. Thanks for any info.

The Officers version is identical but made in solid silver. They were a private purchase badge, rather than issued, so were made by jewellers etc. You get modern repros with the silver mark of 'sil or silver' but no hallmark.
