Hello again Keith, this is a incredible subject and i do understand full well there are a sea of fakes out there but this is not a typical Russell King badge. As you well know opinions, as this brilliant forum shows can sometimes be divided. Officialdom recognises not enough info was gathered during and shortly after the war regards these badges?
Did you get chance to view the post 03/09/11 post titled 'LRDG Cairo made Badge' -view the badge with the squashed together lugs? Would you be prepared to comment on this badge as it has identical manufacturing characteristics as mine. Also, can actual verdigris be quickly faked or speeded up on Bronze? I'm not talking about antique brass 'ager' with acetone etc..My badge is bronze.
I value your opinion. I am assuming the business link you attach to your list of what you collect is you? I'd like to know more about the middle-east cdo badge on this website.
