Default East Yorkshire Regiment

I recently acquired 2 East Yorkshire badges. One has 2 loop fasteners and the other a slide. The loops one has more detail and the slider on is generally flatter. Are they both original as I am tending to favour the loop one to display at the moment. Your opinions are welcomed.

Loops badge is the earlier badge- should have a braze hole behind the rose. Some versions of these badges with sliders have a braze hole, others not. I would favour the looped badge. Regards, Paul.

Hi Panther 1, both badges look good but the lugged badge appears smaller, Could you confirm the dimensions on the badges please. Both look correct but the lugged badge appears smaller so could be a collar badge though i`m not sure if it came with the scroll. Collars are not my thing and i cannot put my hands on my Churchills to confirm.
Cheers, Dave

Hi,
The 2 badges are the same size, 42 x46mm. I think it's just the image makes them look different.
