Default Chapel Detachment? (Royal Engineers)

Hi Gents,

I picked up this really nice Great War image showing a unit of the Royal Engineers, including a couple of Despatch Riders on their motorcycles.

The bottom reads 'Chapel Detachment 31st Sic. Co. R.E.'

I just wondered if anyone could shed light or have info on this Detachment?

A long shot I know but it's such a nice image wanted to share it anyway.

Cheerio,

Roy

Roy,

As the 31st Signal Coy were designated as 'Leeds' I would say Chapel = Chapletown, Leeds.

regards
