Default 1 Commando cloth title

Hi All,

any comments on this one much appreciated - is it ok and if so, what period..I have looked at others and I am a bit concerned on this one that the thread/lettering seems thicker than others I have seen..

Cheers in advance, mark

Alas this is not a correct pattern - it is a poor copy - the colour tones are incorrect - the green should not be so bright and garish - The back appears to have green baize glued to it, but the little bits visible below that are also wrong.

It is best to beware with Commando items - most are heavily reproduced - research is the key before purchasing. There are some good albums on this forum which should assist. Correct items are usually expensive and the adage 'if something appears too good to be true it probably is not true' certainly applies. That said obviously some nice finds can be made as we know, but relatively few genuine items appear to crop up undetected by dealers or specialist collectors, and are priced accordingly.

Mike

It cost you £12.50, do you really think it could be original?
