I cant make comment on whether theyre genuine or not . But the larger one on green ,i was told was SAS for an RGJ officer. However, due to the colour,i think it more likely for it to be for a Scottish No1 jacket.

The top three are Mess Dress probably early 1960s. As Mike notes the colour may not be quite correct for RGJ. Some certainly have been made for RGJ but are on a very dark Rifle Green ground. The white one is 17/21 Lancers and RCT. All are original. Gold wings are for Officers and silver ones for ORs.

Intelligence Corps officers, warrant officers and sergeants wear private purchase reduced size bullion badges with a grey backing on mess kit/mess dress. On Number 1 Dress full size wings with a Cypress Green backing are worn.

I do hope that these badges and others like them are recorded in collections as Private Purchase, none of them are War Office or Ministry of Defence Issue.

There is a regulation for Mess Dress and Number 1 Dress badges, which is conveniently ignored by almost all Regiments and Corps.
