22nd Bn Mobile Defence Corps
This shortlived Bn of the MDC is known to have worn the badge shown in this sketch, the numbers white, the colours of the background red and blue.
The Bn was based in Lincolshire and like many MDC units consisted of ex-Gunners no longer required after the abolition of AA Command. Has anyone got an example sitting in their unidentifed box? Examples of the scarce badges for other Bns are illustrated in my book now apeparing in the Books by Forum Members section. Jon |

Belated thanks for showing the badge. I have now - including this example - recorded three possible variations of the badge, the others shown here. But until I find an image of the badge being worn (unlikely) it remains uncertain which one they wore.
