Default My Latest Dealer Batch

I received the following goodies in he mail yesterday from a well respected dealer, except the large RAF Aeromed Evac patch which is the one I got off eBay from an American dealer. I always love it when a packet of goodies arrive!

The RAF eagles are for my VAD collection. Thanks to a fellow member I have learned that those VADs assigned to RAF medical services were allowed to wear them on the collars of their tunics RAF eagles with their heads to the rear.

Marc, I got those for my RA AA collection. I figured that would have been an extension of that branch in today's times. I don't aggressively pursue badges for this area, but if something comes along that is reasonable I'll get it.

Introduced in January 1956, never seen any being worn.

Interesting, thnaks Marc. I knew nothing about them other than the name, so you have given me some good info there. They were not expensive, less than 5 GBP for both of them.
