Lightbulb unknown Badges

Hi Everyone, Got these badges and looking to identify them, one has a makers name Dowler Brimingham. I think some maybe Scottish. Many thanks for any help.

The one with the elephants either side of the shield is from Inverness.

The first one is pre-Anglo-Boer War South African from the Orange Free State Republic, nice badge.

The badge in post #2 with the Royal Crest inside the garter may have a King's Own Scottish Borderers connection.

Thanks Alex for that information. They also came with another South African railway badge are they from the same period as the pre-Anglo-Boer War one?.

First post, star with GvR is The Royal Canadian Regiment somewhere before they managed to revert to the VRI cypher and QVC (in 1919?).

The railways cap badge is newer, used until the 1980s I think.

The Prince of Wale's plumes (Ich Dien) is an other ranks collar badge for the 10th Hussars, 3rd Dragoon Guards etc.
