Default Another Major League seller of FAKES on Ebay.

Hello,

I noticed this 'fantasy' badge on ebay, Royal Horse Artillery.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393277482...EAAOSwsWRgfYeV

I checked out his other 1,814 badges on there and thats a lot, and after a few pages I gave up trying to find a real one.

Trades as yesbuyme1st with the usual fake sellers get out of jail free clause,

“have brought this collection of badge from a private collector I am not a expert on badge so it is up to you decide If real or reproduction restrike as I am no expert please ask for as many picture as you want before biding Thankyou hope this helps”

One to avoid.

regards

It’s the ‘Ron collection’ again sold by Mr ‘Lovely’ badge seller... previously ‘Lovely Old School’ badge.

Same chap who sold the forged QVC RA recently plus many other threads.

This dodgy collection has been coming thick and fast since summer last year. No end in sight sadly!

I agree with you both. Just been looking at the rest of the badges, a load of rubbish. And all £15 each.

Funny he doesn't show a full on frontal so you could see it's of the tall orb family.

Surely there must be someone who has complained to eBay?. They must know who bought that bogus Vicky Crown Artillery badge?. Could they, if advised, be held responsible for aiding and abetting a fraud if they then did not advise the buyer of such fraud?
Members keep saying that his fakes have to be proven as such or that proof of his knowledge that what he sells is rubbish. Is there such an organisation in UK as the “Better Business Bureau” where complaints may be lodged? It’s one of the tools that most respectable businesses belong to as a means of self regulating their practices here in Canada. A business that does not belong to this or the local Chamber of Commerce surely has something a little murky in their operation.

eBay exist to make cash - not deal with complaints. Militaria dealers here are not likely to be members of a Chamber of Commerce nor is there any requirement for them (or indeed anyone else) to be members. The seller has thousands of satisfied customers (according to the feedback) which we know is meaningless. As has been suggested, make a note of who the seller is and don't buy from him and then move on.

Dave.
